"All my life I have wanted to write books, and at last I have time to do it. It’s fun! I’m fascinated by people and their lives so that’s what I write about – good or bad, laid-back or serious, lucky or unlucky, weird or wonderful – most people are a fascinating mixture and every life is different. What I have never encountered is an “ordinary” life – every life has its moments and at least one story worth telling. So my books tell the stories of real people living real lives.

One day in the future – when I catch up with the backlog of requests from people wanting me to relate their stories – I may find time to write a novel or two, straight out of my crazy head.

But anything I invent will never surpass real life!"
